The brief
This inviting basement renovation brings a fresh interpretation of the home’s existing design style while introducing a warm caramel colour palette. A striking linear electric fireplace wall anchors the space, finished with floor-to-ceiling tile and framed by maple wood slat detailing and elegant sconces. Existing luxury vinyl flooring was complemented with a plush area rug to enhance comfort. Designed as a multifunctional retreat, the rec room blends media, music, and relaxation areas into a cohesive, stylish space.
Scope of Work
Design concept development, fireplace feature wall design, lighting layout, material selection, furniture sourcing, procurement, styling, and coordination with trades for installation and finishes.
