Frequently Asked Questions
When should I drop off/pick up my dog?
Drop-off anytime during open hours. For overnight stays, we close at 7 PM but require check-in by 6:30 PM to allow your dog to acclimate and use the washroom before bedtime.
Can I bring toys and beds from home?
Yes! We encourage comforting smells. However, we cannot accept stuffed beds or comforters for hygiene and safety. Please bring blankets, towels, or t-shirts instead.
What if my dog needs medication or lunch?
Simply bring them along with their leash. We are happy to administer medications and serve lunch or dinner during their stay at no extra hassle.
How do I see the facility before booking?
We offer tours daily at 2 PM (except Wednesdays). Please call ahead to schedule. You can also take a full virtual tour via Google Earth anytime!
How does grooming work with boarding?
We recommend booking grooming early. We aim to groom your dog the day before pick-up. Plus, for every day they board, you receive a $5 discount on their bath!
Health, Safety & Peace of Mind
Vaccination Requirements
To ensure the safety of all our guests, we require proof of Distemper (DAPP or DHPP), Rabies, and Bordetella. These must be up to date and provided via veterinary record. For first-time Bordetella vaccinations, we require a 1-week waiting period before arrival. Regular boosters must be administered 3-5 days prior to boarding.
Intact & Non-Social Dogs
We pride ourselves on being an inclusive facility. Diamond reserves the right to limit the number of intact males/females per day to ensure stability. If your dog is not friendly with others, we offer a “Single” package—carefully supervised one-on-one time with staff—so they can enjoy the outdoors safely.

Professional daycare provides essential mental stimulation that prevents destructive behaviors at home. Our 10-foot fenced yards on country acreage allow for safe, high-energy play that mimics a dog’s natural environment.
Holiday & Peak Season Bookings
Cancellations
Deposits are refundable if cancelled 21 days prior (subject to a $50 admin fee). Peak season cancellations under 21 days are non-refundable.
Minimum Stays
Minimum stays are in effect during Christmas, New Years, March Break, and Saturdays from Victoria Day to Labour Day.
Planning for March Break, Christmas, or New Years? We recommend booking well in advance via Gingr. A 50% room deposit is required to secure your reservation during these peak times.
