Leaside Volleyball History

Leaside Volleyball Club in Toronto, Ontario was founded in 2008 by John Child, a 3-time Olympian and Olympic Bronze Medalist in Beach Volleyball.

Following what was an amazing 15-year career in professional beach volleyball, John founded Leaside Volleyball Club with the intention to share his deep love of the sport with our next generation of young athletes.

His mission was simple: to create a high-performance environment where youth could develop not just as volleyball players, but as leaders and teammates.
