Paddling season is usually May to September, but you can join the team at any time. You are welcome to come out and see us in action, go for a ride, or try paddling (subject to health screening and medical clearance). Please contact us to get started!
PFDs and paddles for practices are provided by the team.
Training twice a week and appropriate attire (closed toe shoes, shorts/leggings and T-shirt) is required. If you want to get involved, more information can be found below.
All Members are required to volunteer at various events, specifically completing at least one Bingo shift (2 hour shifts) throughout the year at the Cambridge location to keep the team afloat.
For individuals who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. We welcome you at any stage of your journey.
For those who wish to support the team's mission. You might be a friend, family member, or community advocate who loves the water.
We paddle on the water from May to September, twice weekly, on our local lake. As a team we work on paddling skills, strength, endurance and coordination.
We train for up to 2 or 3 race festivals per season. We also have team meetings throughout the year and work together to fund raise, maintain our boat and plan social occasions.

22 Paddlers moving forward together. New to dragon boating? Don’t worry. Many of our members had never held a paddle before joining. We provide comprehensive training that covers the four phases of the stroke: the catch, the pull, the exit, and the recovery.
More importantly, we provide a “buddy system.” When you join, you’ll be paired with a veteran paddler who can answer your questions—not just about the boat, but about the survivor experience.
