Inside Cottage Pottery Studio:
London’s Fully Equipped Ceramic Arts Space
“I’m a self-declared pottery geek. For me, the true magic of ceramics lies in the details—the clay chemistry, the orientation of particles, the intricate science of glazes, and the fiery breath of a kiln.”
— David Moynihan, Studio Founder & Lead Instructor

My teachers are fantastic and fun, atmosphere is chill vibes only and I am most definitely..."coming to the cottage" pottery studio again! You should try it and see what you can create from a lump of clay!Posted on Google Kristina PringleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Laurie is amazing! Her work is thoughtful and beautiful and reflects the kind of person she is. I have many mugs and hope to collect many more pieces! Highly recommend!Posted on Google Leah McCoyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Went for a couples date night a few months ago, very fun and engaging teacher although I cannot remember his name. We will be booking another one soon!Posted on Google Michelle BrownTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took a beginner and intermediate class here and then became a full member. I’ve been a member for almost one year and I have to say that this place is absolutely incredible. The community is amazing, the instructors are so knowledgeable and kind, and the cost of membership is such a steal. I am so sad to be moving away and having to leave this place because it is truly such a gem. Please do yourself a favour and try some classes out. You won’t regret it!!Posted on Google Raquel MoralesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Unfortunately, my first experience here was disappointing. My fiancé and I attended the Valentine’s event at 5:30, and when we arrived, there were no materials set out we had to locate tools ourselves. The instructor seemed irritated when I and others asked for help, which made the experience uncomfortable. The advertisement mentioned that we could make a mug, but when guests asked about it, the instructor responded that he wasn’t sure if that would be possible. He also made comments like “if you guys are still together,” which felt inappropriate and added to the discomfort. To make matters worse, when I picked up my finished piece, it was not the colour I had requested, leaving me with something I don’t even like.Overall, this was not a positive experience, and unfortunately I won’t be returning.Posted on Google Paulette MillerTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Got to learn about pottery and make a few wonderful pieces with these great people. Highly recommend this wonderful business. Can't wait to see the finished products in a few weeks! Thank you to everybody!Posted on Google CeceTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took a recent beginner class and really enjoyed it, until I had a poor experience with a different teacher named Noel. Who was extremely rude to me infront of the class, a few students and an instructor came up to me after saying it was uncalled for. David is a great instructor id recommend his class instead.Posted on Google Eloisa ToledoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We did the date night and it was really worth it! Both me and my partner never had any experience how to do pottery but Paul and David were really helpful and awesome! (They were funny too!) We had lots of fun that 3hrs wasn’t enough. We talked about it all night until the next day. Will definitely do it again! 10/10Showing our latest reviews
