Call 1-888-458-1979Have roots invaded your sewer line or septic system? Tired of sewage backups and paying to have the same roots removed over and over? RootX kills the roots inside the pipe and stops them growing back for up to 12 months.
Root intrusion is one of the most damaging problems a home's sewer or septic system can have. Left untreated, roots spread through the pipe, restrict the flow and can block it completely, backing sewage up into your home. Over time they can destroy a sewer line or septic system, and repairs or replacement can cost thousands of dollars. RootX makes it easy for you or your plumber to stop roots growing back in residential sewer lines, storm pipes and septic systems.
What is RootX? RootX is a foaming root killer. Each jar holds two components that you mix and pour into the line with water. RootX is registered for use in Canada under the Pest Control Products Act {(PCP Reg. No. 26435, 26436 or 26437: confirm the number on the jar)} and carries the signal word CAUTION, the lowest hazard level on pesticide labels.
The RootX formula foams on contact with water and fills the pipe to the top, where most roots grow. Degreasing agents strip away grime so the herbicide, dichlobenil, can reach the roots. RootX sticks to the pipe walls and stops new roots growing in for up to 12 months. The dead roots decay over time and the pipe returns to full flow.
RootX kills the small fibrous roots and cut roots inside the pipe and stops them growing back. Because the foam only flows through the pipe, it has no effect on the tree or the roots outside the pipe or septic tank. RootX will not harm pipes, septic systems or plants above ground. Kill the roots, save the tree.
Each jar is one complete treatment. Every order includes easy-to-follow directions and a free mask and gloves. First orders also get a free reusable funnel: keep it for your yearly treatment.

If you have a sewer backup, have a plumber run a camera down the line to confirm it is caused by roots. Slow drains that come back a few months after cleaning, water backing up into a floor drain, and soggy or extra-green patches of lawn over the line are common signs.
Important: if roots are causing a complete or even partial blockage, they must be cut out by a professional before you apply RootX. Then treat within one hour of cutting, or 6 to 8 weeks later.
RootX is very effective at controlling and preventing root growth in your sewer line or septic system, but it cannot repair pipes or remove any other type of blockage.
Recommend RootX after every root cutting and your customers stay clear for up to a year. 2lb and 4lb RootX come in cases of 12 jars, with written directions, the SDS and RootX info cards for your customers.
